What should I major in?

If you’re unsure, you’re not alone!

Many students are unsure what to major in and what that major may lead to in terms of career paths or industries.

Assessing your interests, skills, and abilities can help you to focus your goals and will potentially lead to a major.

The best place to start exploring is by taking a Career Assessment. When you’ve completed your assessment, you can make an appointment with your Career Advisor to discuss the results.

FOCUS 2 can help you navigate the major selection process by assessing your skills, personality, interests, and values.

When prompted, enter “saints” as the access code.

With a Liberal Arts and Sciences education, there is a world of opportunity available to you.

There are a wide variety of courses at Emmanuel and over 70+ majors, minors and areas of study within five academic schools.

Read through course descriptions and talk to your Academic Advisor about it fitting into your schedule or degree audit.

There is a tool on Student Planning you may also use to see what your degree audit and class requirements would look like if you declared in that major.
