To position the College as a top choice for employer recruiting, the McCafferty Career Center forges meaningful partnerships with area organizations across an incredible spectrum of fields—from marketing to financial services, government to communications, law enforcement to health care and more—and invites them to campus to take part in career fairs, job interviews and networking discussions.
The recruiting philosophy guiding the Industry Recruitment Series emphasizes intentional, relationship-based engagement with employers. Efforts focus on connecting students with organizations whose opportunities (internships and new graduate positions) align with academic programs and career interests.
The Career Center follows the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles of Ethical Practice to guide the department’s decision-making on employer engagement.
Employer registration is managed through HireSaints to maintain quality control and ensure appropriate alignment with event objectives. Registration links are not publicly available; only employers receiving invitations or logging into HireSaints can access the registration page.
All registrations are set to pending status for review. Employers whose opportunities do not align with the event focus are redirected to more suitable recruitment events. Any uncertain registrations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
