Job Search Tracking Tool
Track Job Applications & Interviews
As you apply for jobs and internships, be sure to track the positions you’ve applied to and the dates you submitted your applications. This will help you stay organized, manage deadlines, and follow up with employers when appropriate. Keeping a record of your applications can also help you evaluate your job search strategy by identifying patterns, tracking response rates, and determining which approaches are leading to the best results.
Use the first tab of this spreadsheet tool (Application Tracker) to track your applications. If you submit your materials through an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) — such as Workday, ICIMS, or Greenhouse — you will usually need to create a candidate account, which should also allow you to log back in periodically to view the status of your application.

Got an interview? Use the second tab of this spreadsheet tool (Interview Tracker) to stay on top of each opportunity by organizing your interview schedule, preparation steps, and follow-up communications.

Remember, it is also best practice to put the date(s) and time(s) of any interview(s) in your calendar of choice, and set alarms to ensure you are punctual and professional.
Use the third tab (Priorities & Tradeoffs) to identify what matters most to you in your job search and set goals that align with your interests, values, and career plans. Clarify your job search goals, rank your priorities, and think through the tradeoffs that may come with different career opportunities.
