Hi, I’m Larissa! I’m Creative Director at Float Design. We’re an agency for branding and visual design working with healthcare, beauty, and lifestyle brands. I also work as a design advisor for start-ups.
🌟 Why am I mentoring?
Early in my career, it was difficult to find established designers who would take the time to speak with me. A couple of designers finally did talk with me and it made a huge difference to me and the trajectory of my career.
🤔 What can you come to me for?
• I struggled with my portfolio when I first started so I enjoy helping designers. I’ve looked at 100s of portfolios, resumes, and cover letters and can give you feedback as a studio owner.
• I’ve also pivoted from in-house to freelance to agency owner and I’m happy to discuss the pros and cons of each.
