Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated elementary school teacher to
join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality instruction, fostering a love of learning and knowledge, and integrating Catholic values into the curriculum. This position requires a dynamic educator who is skilled in classroom management, lesson planning, and differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, with a strong sense of rigor and high expectations for students.
Responsibilities
- Teach all core academic subjects to second grade students including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies according to the Massachusetts and archdiocese standards
- Integrate Catholic teachings and values throughout the curriculum
- Prepare students for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation (Penance) and First Holy Communion, coordinating with the parish and supporting families through the sacramental preparation process
- Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments
- Collaborate with faculty and participate in school liturgies and faith-based activities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
- Valid teaching credential or the ability to obtain one (preferred)
- Practicing Catholic, with a commitment to Catholic education
- Experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

- 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM during the school year
