Program/Department Overview:
We partner with major employers in Greater Boston to deliver workforce development programs, helping employees build skills and advance their careers while supporting employers to develop and retain their teams. We partner with 20+ major employers throughout Greater Boston in the healthcare, hospitality, retail and manufacturing sectors, providing basic education, job training, career ladder, coaching, college readiness and citizenship services to over 1,400 workers per year.
Internship Responsibilities:
The Business Admin Intern will support the Employer Engagement department with the following tasks and projects:
- Create graphics or marketing materials to storytell our data and client outcomes to funders, grantors, donors, and more. This can include flyers, 1-page overviews, PowerPoint presentations, and more.
- Conduct outreach using given scripts to prospective and current participants for Talent Pipeline training programs across multi-industry sectors, including healthcare, biotechnology, clean green energy, and more
- Review, enter, organize, and filter data management in an online system: Salesforce. Training will be provided. No experience necessary.
- Support onsite training events such as interview prep workshops and job readiness sessions
- Research job opening and employer hiring trends.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone outreach
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Willing to learn how to use new database platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and Calendly
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-changing environment
- Proactive and takes initiative
