Title: Development & Alumni Relations Support Staff (On-Campus Housing Available)
Job Description:
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations performs a variety of functions during the academic year, including: organizing and assisting with multiple events for Alumni and current students, alumni outreach, creating marketing materials geared toward our alumni constituent base, and maintaining our database of alumni information. Office/Events Specialist:
– Answer the main phone line and help answer general event, giving, and alumni relations questions
– Monitor the main email and triage questions to appropriate staff members
– Assist with the registration process for events – printing, assembling name tags, event planning, setup and execution
– Track engagements with alumni and donors for our frontline gift officers
– Update constituent records
Marketing Assistant:
– Assist with the promotion of events, appeals, and celebration of our alumni,
– Identify alumni stories and coordinate meetings with our alumni writers to create profiles
– Assist with news stories for social, web, and mail/email newsletter pieces
– Assist with scholarship and stewardship creation, mailings, and follow-up questions
– Help write and build emails
– Work with team to track success of email campaigns and report to team,
– General office duties as well.
Data Specialist:
– Data entry to update contact information in our CRM, assign affinity groups, update employer information and action notes
– Bring data into our CRM from various systems through imports, data entry and conversations with team members
– Review data for accuracy and assist with pull lists of segmented groups
– Work with the data team to build dashboards
