Title: Advancement Student Associate (On-Campus Housing Available)

Job Description:

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations performs a variety of functions during the academic year, including organizing and assisting with multiple events for Alumni and current students, conducting alumni outreach, creating marketing materials for our alumni base, and maintaining our alumni database. Please find more specific details about the position listed below:

Office Support:

  • Provide high-quality customer service to all stakeholders
    • Answering the alumni main phone line
    • Replying to emails in the Alumni Email Inbox
    • Greeting walk-ins and providing support
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance

Data Maintenance Support:

  • Use available knowledge base resources to perform data entry/cleanup
    • Assigned/supervised by Advancement Operations Team
  • Update constituent records with fine attention to detail
  • Create action records for interactions with constituents, tracking departmental engagements.

Events Support:

  • Assist with creation of flyers and marketing materials for events
  • Assist with event registration creation
  • Process event registrations over the phone
  • Attend events, working check-in, and providing support to on-site staffers

Marketing/Social Media Support:

  • Capture relevant content aligned with staff social media tasks and goals
  • Participate in internal social media campaigns, providing insights & feedback
  • Share and create content, driving traffic to upcoming events/campaigns
  • Maintain & update email/social media performance statistics

    • Answer phones and reply to emails with quality customer service assistance

    • Work with seasoned fundraising professionals and gain insight and experience in the field of Higher Education Fundraising
