Industry Recruitment Series: Nursing Recap
On Tuesday March 26, the McCafferty Career Center hosted our third Industry Recruitment event of the series: Nursing.
At all of our Industry Recruitment Series, students and recruiters are able network in a professional, yet laid back setting. During this time students can learn about the company itself, application & hiring processes and available job/internship opportunities. Employers repeatedly report that they love this form of speed networking and how great it is to meet/interview several students at once.
Set up a little differently than our usual events, employers were tabled in the JYC right outside the Nursing Department. We hosted 9 different hospitals and healthcare orgs including Beth Israel Health, Boston Children’s and Brigham & Women’s.
A total of 36 Nursing students attended this time– our most attended event this year! Almost every student reported they have a better understanding of the hiring & application processes and will be using the information they learned moving forward. Multiple employers said that all the students came prepared and enjoyed interacting with them in this setting.
