Industry Recruitment Series: Communications & Marketing Recap
On Tuesday March 12, the McCafferty Career Center hosted its second Industry Recruitment Series event of the semester for Communications & Marketing!
In contrast to other tabled career fair events, students who attended the IRS were able to interact with recruiters via a series of round table conversations. A variety of employers throughout the Boston area were present, such as Reebok, WHDH-TV, and Allen Creative Group, among others.
With a focus audience of our Creative Arts & Marketing programs, students from these majors got to learn first hand about the companies, how they relate to their majors and their hiring processes.
Since attending the IRS event, over half of the students have already been contacted by employers they met with. In addition, almost every student that attended said they gained confidence in their ability to interact with people on a professional level.
