Cheyenne Candlin ’23 – History
Building Impact, Boston, Programs Intern
“Building Impact is a non-profit that designs corporate days of service and team volunteering in the Boston community. This internship will allow me to gain a further understanding of what I would like to do after graduating. I will learn leadership skills while helping coordinate groups of volunteers and fulfill my internship requirement while helping people and doing volunteer work.”
Angel Hunt ’23 – Neuroscience
826 Boston, STEM Literacy Intern
“826 Boston is a nonprofit writing and tutoring organization. My choice of internship may seem unorthodox for many Neuroscience majors, but due to my interest with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) I am able to explore this. 826 Boston welcomes the intersectionality of STEM and DEI and is able to give back to the communities it serves.”
Joshua Jean-Charles ’23 – Sociology
Senator Markey’s Office, Congressional Intern
I aspire to become an urban planner and this internship exposes me to various issues involving housing and environmental crises that I am very interested in learning more about.
Arielle Poudel ’23 – Sociology
Citizens for Juvenile Justice, Data Analyst Intern
“CfJJ is a non-profit, statewide organization working exclusively to reform and reimagine the juvenile justice and other youth serving systems in Massachusetts. This internship gives me the opportunity to fight against juvenile injustices and race based and other inequalities.”
Vanessa Rene ’23 – Psychology
St. Katharine Drexel-Roxbury Church, Afterschool Program Intern
I want to be a school psychologist, so this internship allows me to see students outside of a traditional education setting. This allows me to develop skills on how to aid students outside of the classroom.”
